On Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 7:00PM at the ACO Campus in Princeton, NJ, ACO Movie Night & Open Discussion will feature Screenagers, a documentary by physician and filmmaker, Delaney Ruston. Dr. Ruston takes a deeply personal approach as she probes into the vulnerable corners of family life, including her own, to explore the impact of social media, video games, academics and internet addiction on relationships. Through poignant, and sometimes unexpectedly funny stories—along with surprising insights from authors, psychologists and brain scientists—Screenagers reveals how tech time affects a child’s development and offers solutions on how adults can empower kids to best navigate the digital world and find balance.

Join us as we explore the healthy and unhealthy effects of screen time on the emotional and social functioning of the young people in your life. Howard Chavis, M.D. and Susan Marcel, D.O. will lead the discussion after the film.

Admission to Movie Night is free. We hope you and your teenagers will join us! Please come early for complimentary pizza, popcorn and beverages before the movie at 6:45PM. For reservations call (732) 821-1144, email the ACO or register on-line.

Are you concerned about how much time your children spend watching TV or using their phone, tablet or computer? Take the ACO Screen Time Test. This test not only helps you evaluate the quantity and quality of your child's use of technology; it also helps us provide you with custom-tailored information and tips to help your child get the most out of his or her screen time.
